Along with the traditional perennials, Seaview also offer some varieties that are more specialised. Those include Flower Carpet Roses, Elfin Daisies, Cape Daisies, Alstromerias (Princess Lilies), Cordylines etc. Our House Plant selection, from babies up to the larger sizes is extensive and includes palms.
We despatch plants every day from the nursery throughout the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
Clive Wallis and his wife Linda, the new owners, are based in Mosgiel in the South Island where the family business has been established for over 55 years. The business is situated on 20 acres of production with another 20 acres of field production, as well as a mini golf course and retail outlet.
The South Island nursery compliments Seaview Nurseries in Alfriston perfectly. Whilst the nursery in Mosgiel produces plants and shrubs more suited to the South Island climate, the team at Seaview have stuck to their original vision. That is, to produce quality perennial plants for the North Island market. Situated in a fertile valley just south of Auckland, the nursery covers ten acres of prime growing space.
Putting the two companies skills together, we are able to offer a pallet of colourful plant type, variety, size and colour ¿ a plethora of plants ready for the garden!
